Licensing - Rehosting

Physical appliance licenses are associated with one specific CC-SG unit. Virtual appliance licenses deployed before CC-SG 6.0 in Served mode, with a license server, are associated with one specific license server. Virtual appliance licenses deployed in Not Served mode, without a license server, are associated with the CC-SG virtual machine.

If these items change, your license file is assigned the wrong Host ID, you want to eliminate your license server and change to Not Served mode, or anything happens that would result in a mismatch between the license file and your CC-SG system, you must obtain a new license file with the correct Host ID.

Served mode is no longer supported as of CC-SG 6.0, so you must get new licenses before upgrading to 6.0 to change to the support Not Served mode.
