Use the Send Text to Target function to send text directly to the target. If a text editor or command prompt is open and selected on the target, the text is pasted there.
To send text to target:
Choose Input > Send Text to Target. The Send Text to Target dialog appears.
Enter the text you want sent to the target. Supported keyboard characters only.
