Guided Setup offers a simple way to complete initial CC-SG configuration tasks once the network configuration is complete. The Guided Setup interface leads you through the process of defining Associations, discovering and adding devices to CC-SG, creating device groups and node groups, creating user groups, assigning policies and privileges to user groups, and adding users. Once you have completed Guided Setup, you can always edit your configurations individually.
Guided Setup is divided into four tasks:
Associations - Define the categories and elements that you use to organize your equipment. See Associations in Guided Setup.
Device Setup - Discover devices in your network and add them to CC-SG. Configure device ports. See Device Setup.
Create Groups - Categorize the devices and nodes that CC-SG manages into groups and create full access policies for each group. See Creating Groups.
User Management - Add users and user groups to CC-SG, and select the policies and privileges that govern user access within CC-SG and to devices and nodes. See User Management.
