Disable Java Caching and Clear the Java Cache
It is highly recommended that you disable Java caching in Microsoft Windows®, and clear the Java™ cache.
- To disable Java caching and clear the cache:
- From the Windows Start menu, click Control Panel.
- Double-click on the Java icon to launch it. The Java Control Panel dialog appears.
- To disable Java caching:
- From the General tab, click the Settings button. The Temporary Files Settings dialog appears.
- Click the View Applets button. The Java Applet Cache Viewer opens.
- Deselect the Enable Caching checkbox if it is already checked.
- Click OK.
- To clear the Java cache:
- From the Temporary Files Settings dialog, click the Delete Files button. The Delete Temporary Files dialog appears.
- Select the temporary files that you want to delete.
- Click OK.
